Marshal KadirCentral Command
New Game sets up the battle: the base (Classic, every building standing and every unit ready to buy; or Build-up, where your Construction Yard builds the factories, silos and Palace that unlocks the Rocket Troops or the Shock Troops), the opening army, how often sandworms come, and the vehicle you drive.
While its Construction Yard stands, a faction rebuilds what it loses. Destroy their yard and every barracks, factory and refinery to win. Windtraps power the base: without them, production and turrets slow down. Fight with your army, blow up their buildings and run their troopers down. Blue dots on the radar are your army and red dots are theirs. Turn your volume up.
WS
Throttle and brake
AD
Steer (arrow keys work too)
Click, then move the mouse
Capture the mouse and aim the centre cursor independently of the hull. Tank turrets and gun elevation follow it; the missile tank turns and elevates its launcher rack. Options → Aim assist is on by default; turn it off for exact cursor fire
Space or click
Fire. A rocket launcher starts fully loaded with 24 rockets in Target Lock mode: capture the mouse and move the crosshair onto an enemy for automatic aim assist, then tap Space for one rocket or hold to empty the loaded rack. Use its Target Lock / Salvo toggle button, or V, for artillery: the red circle shows the impact area and the outer circle the blast reach. The salvo spreads rockets evenly through that area, out to 1,000 m; Target Lock reaches 500 m. Release stops either mode. One rocket returns every 2 s, 48 s empty-to-full. Returned rounds wait for a fresh press. Other vehicles fire at their selected target or centre cursor; in a trike the right mouse button fires too
TabShift+Tab
Next target / previous target (base turrets come first, then the nearest). Tab past the last one, or Shift+Tab, goes back to automatic targeting. Quads, trikes and ornithopters have fixed weapons, so they lock enemies in a cone ahead: steer to bring one in; tanks and soldiers snap the mouse sight onto the target
12
1 takes over your nearest fighting vehicle, 2 your nearest soldier, and drives it yourself. Press again for the next one, Backspace to go back to your own vehicle. Drive over troopers to crush them
G
Once your Palace stands, call in your faction's elite: Megacorp receives five of the Rocket Troops in an orbital pod; Syndicate calls the Shock Troops, who emerge from concealed sand shelters. Place the spot, then fire or click to pay
V
Rocket launcher: toggle Target Lock / Salvo. Trike (take one with 1): plant a thumper. It calls the sandworms, and the worm takes whatever moves near it: drop one on the enemy's amber ore field, then race clear
U
Side panel: BUILD (your Construction Yard and factories: click to build, Shift+click for 5, right-click to cancel; AUTO lets the AI build your units, off by default) or BASE (the enemy base's damage)
